Physiotherapy Initial Extended Treatment 45min

The EXTENDED initial assessment is necessary for anyone with more than one area of injury or pain. This Initial Manual Therapy Physiotherapy Consult will involve a comprehensive history of your injuries or pains, objective assessment of movement patterns and examination of local and surrounding affected areas. We will start to develop an understanding of the relationship between all your affected areas and the nature behind your pains. This will allow your treating physiotherapist to gain and impart to you a fantastic understanding of your complaint and develop a treatment plan which will involve a plan of attack regarding pathology, local, remote and contributing factors. This is the first step towards a long term solution to your pain.

Physiotherapy Subsequent Treatment 30 min

Subsequent manual therapy appointment will allow for your physiotherapist to carry out any passive treatment modalities that were deemed necessary in your initial assessment. Common manual therapy services include soft tissue mobilisation, joint accessory mobilisation and manipulation, dry needle therapy, supportive and dynamic taping, mobilisation with movement. Your physiotherapist will also supply you with education, support and self management strategies so that your therapy is continued and supplemented by easy, helpful hints and changes to your habits rather than long winded repetitive exercises that are rarely successfully executed independently.

Physiotherapy Subsequent Extended Treatment 45 min
