Lisa Marie Zorzi

Lisa has a keen interest in solving the cases that other therapists continue to treat without resolution. She respects the timely nature of the correct treatment at the correct stage of the condition and therefore does a mix of early hands on physiotherapy treatment and rehabilitation of chronic conditions that is necessary for any condition that isn’t traumatic. Her attention to detail and personalised care approach will leave you understanding a clear path to resolution every time.

Learning from her own scoliosis, and always searching for answers means Lisa has travelled throughout the world, Wisconsin, Italy and Prague to do advance world leading training in evidence based scoliosis physiotherapy techniques including BSPTS Schroth and SEAS techniques.

Lisa shows a level of empathy that many other therapists wont, due to her understanding what being in pain is like, and steps to resolution. She is also always striving to make sure she is at the forefront of scoliosis treatment and education to make sure she is helping her scoliosis patients like no one else.

2017 was a big year for Lisa and Mathew (her other half) welcoming their daughter, Ada and more recently in 2019 Vea, now being the proud mother of two beautiful girls.

Lisa’s long-term career goals are to complete her PhD in scoliosis treatment methods especially in teens, creating long-term change to the way Scoliosis is managed in Australia. Lisa prides herself in working as part of the multi-disciplinary team for all conditions; she loves working with doctors, surgeons, osteopaths and other health care professionals to get the best results for her patients, creating relationships and working with others just eases patients’ minds and this is what she continues to instil in her team.

Gary Huang

Physiotherapist  BSc (Physio) & Exercise Physiologist

Before coming to Australia, Gary completed a Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy and is a qualified and registered physiotherapist in Taiwan. He has work experience in a wide variety of settings and domains. Gary worked at a public hospital which involved acute and chronic muscular rehab, pre/post op, cardiopulmonary rehab, neurological rehab as well as paediatric rehab. Furthermore, Gary also has some work experience at a special education school to help physically challenged children and assist teachers in class as part of his alternative military service.

Gary came to Perth to pursue his Masters degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology at University of Western Australia. After completing his masters degree, Gary registered under ESSA as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. 

He is the only Mandarin-speaking registered Exercise Physiologist in WA.

With the combination of knowledge and experience from both qualifications, Gary thrives in helping people with muscular problems. Furthermore, Gary loves to educate and explain things in detail with his iPad. 

Gary is also one of a few qualified NeuroKinectic Therapy practitioners in WA. When it comes to compensation pattern or movement problems, Gary often utilises this technique to help him identify the “missing link” in ones movement. Moreover, Gary is also a certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner. Clinically, Gary uses different taping methods to assist his patients in recovery.

Outside of work, Gary loves coffee, cars, motorcycles and technology. He brews his own pour-over coffee and makes nice latte everyday. Be mindful that Gary will never stop to chatting about cars and motorcycles, when given the opportunity. In terms of hobbies, Gary spends his weekend playing badminton with a group of friends and washing/ detailing his cars.


Dimitrie Damos


Physiotherapist & Pilates Instructor

Dimitrie completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Notre Dame Australia. She started at Bodyworks Subiaco due to her own scoliosis journey and loves to help people learn and grow within their own bodies, learning through movement.

She has a passion for empowering clients to be in control of their body and health, placing importance on evidence-based practice. She has particular clinical interests in gender health, disability, paediatrics, and scoliosis, with aspirations to further educate herself in these fields in the near future.

Dimitrie values a genuine and holistic approach when helping clients on their journey towards improving their quality of life, considering all aspects of health and wellbeing. She loves working closely with other practitioners to provide optimal care and best outcomes for patients.

In her spare time, Dimitrie enjoys catching up with friends, spending time with family, and getting out for a run when she can.

Rene Hamilton


Physiotherapist BSc (Physio)

Rene completed her Physiotherapy degree at Curtin University in 1998 and spent the first twelve years of her career working in Paediatrics, primarily at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children. Here she specialised in acute care in the areas of Orthopaedics, Burns and Plastics, Hands, Amputee Rehabilitation, Oncology, and Respiratory. As the Acting Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist Burns and Plastics, Rene was involved in the disaster management of the 2002 Bali Bombings. She then spent 3 years as the Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist Orthopaedics managing both inpatient and outpatient care. During this time Rene was seconded to Notre Dame University to help develop and lecture the paediatric modules for the undergraduate course. She is very experienced in physiotherapy education, having provided years of student supervision to both Notre Dame University and Curtin University.

In Paediatrics, Rene is available to provide fun, play-based exercise rehabilitation programs for school-aged children and teenagers, individually or in a class setting. She is experienced in working with children with hypermobility and a wide range of paediatric and developmental conditions, including babies who are showing delay in achieving gross motor milestones, or torticollis/plagiocephaly (misshapen head). She completed training through the PCH Eating Disorders Department to enable her to provide exercise therapy to individuals who have transitioned into community care. As a part of our team, Rene shares her time between Bodyworks Subiaco working and mentoring in paediatrics, and Perth Scoliosis Clinic as a Scoliosis Specific Physiotherapist.

At home, Rene loves spending time with her family and Cooper, her therapy dog in training, baking and cooking, and looking after her indoor garden.

Bec Allen


Bec completed her Doctor of Physiotherapy degree at Curtin University. Prior to this, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Sports Science and Exercise Health.

After multiple sporting injuries as a junior basketballer, Bec developed a deep appreciation for Physiotherapy which inspired her to pursue it as a career.

Bec has a key interest in arthritis management for pre and post-orthopaedic surgery, as well as other related musculoskeletal care.

Other areas of interest include paediatrics, injury prevention and rehabilitation, disability, and pain management. Bec utilises manual therapy, exercise and injury prevention to help her clients achieve their goals.

Outside of work Bec enjoys spending time with friends and family. She also continues to play basketball and netball whenever she can.

Olivia Purnell

Physiotherapy Assistant

Olivia is currently studying for her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Notre Dame Australia and has completed her STOTT Pilates qualification.

Growing up, Olivia was surrounded by sport which is where she developed her love of movement and fascination with the human body. She has been an athlete in a high-performance environment which has led to her keen interest in musculoskeletal injuries, rehabilitation, and strength and conditioning for the prevention of injury. This passion saw Olivia become a Sports Trainer, and most recently the Head Sports Trainer, of various sporting clubs.

She enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities, empowering them to find confidence in the way their own individual bodies move. Olivia adopts a genuine, holistic approach when assisting people in their unique journeys and plays her role in the team to reach their specific goals.

In her spare time, Olivia enjoys playing cricket, spending time with friends and family, and exploring the coast and the country.



Danica Falcone


Clinical Exercise Physiologist

Danica completed her Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Curtin University. Prior to this she also completed a Bachelor of Exercise, Sport and Rehabilitation Science.

Danica’s aspirations to become an Accredited Exercise Physiologist sparked her interest after countless injuries encountered in competitive “non-contact” sport, netball. Following multiple sprained ankles, a broken finger and a fractured elbow the rehabilitation process was quite familiar and enjoyable despite being sidelined. Throughout this time, Danica established the power of rehabilitation and the importance in recovery to return to sports.

Danica strives to rehabilitate those experiencing work and sports injuries to regain full function and strength as someone once did for her. Danica’s career goal is to positively impact the lives of those in need and motivate them to be the best version of themselves.

Outside the clinic, Danica enjoys travelling to beaches down south for small fishing trips and SUP boarding. She continues to love and play netball.

Rachel Orbuck

Clinical Exercise Physiologist

Rachel completed a Graduate Diploma of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Murdoch University. Prior to this, she completed a Bachelor of Science (Exercise and Health) and a Graduate Diploma of Education (Physical Education, Health and Science) at the University of Western Australia.

Becoming an Accredited Exercise Physiologist was driven by the desire to help individuals regain the ability to participate in everyday tasks without hesitation. Rachel is passionate about education and aims to provide her clients with easy-to-understand information surrounding their conditions to remove any fear or uncertainty they may be feeling, and strives to instill confidence in her clients to pursue activities that bring joy to their lives.

Rachel has a keen interest in paediatrics, particularly school-aged children, to develop movement literacy that will allow confident engagement in physical activity and sports. Having taught Physical Education in various school settings, Rachel understands the importance of well-rounded fundamental movement skills in maintaining enjoyable participation.

Other areas of interest include women’s health, metabolic conditions, and amputee rehabilitation.

Away from the clinic, Rachel enjoys bouldering and playing tennis and squash with her husband.

Melika Shahid


Pilates Instructor

Melika started gymnastics and dancing from a very young age. Growing up, she has always been dedicated to fulfilling her personal fitness goals. Her strong desire in trying to understand the biomechanics of body and mobility lead her to Pilates.

Melika is a fully Stott-trained barre, matwork, and reformer instructor. She thrives on continual education to expand her knowledge through varied workshops frequently. Active aging, strength training, and athletic conditioning are at the forefront of her fitness programming. Melika enjoys empowering her clients through progressions and challenging workouts that focus on safety and good technique.

Asha Martin


Pilates Instructor

Asha is a fully qualified STOTT PILATES Mat and Reformer Instructor. She has been passionate about all things movement from a young age, starting gymnastics at age four and moving to Sports Aerobics Gymnastics later.

After completing high school Asha studied nursing and became an Assistant Nurse. She has been working in aged care for six years and has loved every minute of it although the part she loved most was helping people through movement. This is when she decided her love of Pilates and helping others would come together to create her passion for Pilates.

Through her life experiences and knowledge, Asha believes that wellbeing can be enhanced with movement and good nutrition. She looks forward to sharing this knowledge with clients to improve mind, body, awareness and mobility.

Pilates Instructor & Remedial Massage Therapist

Tiffany is a passionate Pilates instructor here at Bodyworks. Dancing from the age of 4, movement has always been an integral component of Tiffany’s being and adores Pilates and all it has to offer. Her aim for every class is to make it fun and challenging in a safe and supportive way.

Tiffany is also a qualified Remedial Massage therapist. In her treatments, Tiffany looks at the body holistically and aims to bring about balance to the mind /body using deep tissue/ trigger point and Swedish massage techniques.

Tiffany loves being a part of the Bodyworks community. She loves learning new things and passing on her knowledge to anyone that is interested.
When Tiffany isn’t at the studio, she is looking after her two energetic children. She also enjoys going to the beach and soaking in the positive vibes.

Jenny Yeh

Remedial Massage Therapist

Jenny Has 11 years of experience as a Remedial Massage Therapist. She is qualified with a Diploma of Remedial Massage and is a practitioner of pregnancy massage.

She has also completed her Bachelor of Education and worked as a teacher in child care and kindergarten in Taiwan. Jenny loves to work with children and families. When she moved to Australia in 2010, she started to learn Swedish massage and completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage in 2014. When thinking about how to combine these professional skills together she chose to have a keen interest in Pregnancy Massage. However, that doesn’t mean she only works with pregnant ladies.

In 2019, Jenny did Fertility Massage Therapy training, extending her service to support ladies who are struggling with infertility, irregular menstrual cycle, imbalanced hormones during menopause, heavy period pain, and more. With 11 years in the field of Remedial Massage, Jenny has wealth of experience that will ensure you obtain the best result of your care, she is dedicated to working with you and your family to obtain reach your health goals.

Yasuko Nelthorpe

Remedial Massage Therapist

Yasuko holds Diploma in Remedial Massage and Bowen Therapy, and is a qualified provider for all health fund rebates in both modalities.

Yasuko has a strong passion to achieve the greatest lasting result by treating not only presenting symptoms such as pain or discomfort but the actual hidden cause.

Yasuko uses her intensive musculoskeletal assessment and palpation skills as well as various style of massage, such as deep tissue, fascial release, muscle energy technique, or trigger point to tailor for the client's individual needs, as well as supplying a care plan to take home.

Yasuko started her career in the health care industry treating clients with neurological conditions. Along with Bowen therapy, Yasuko offers her skills to wide range of clients with increased needs, such as newborns, work related injuries, disabilities and athletes.
