At Bodyworks Subiaco & Perth Scoliosis Clinic we pride ourselves in offering our patients the latest technologies to help you achieve your outcomes.
To create your tailored exercise programs we use a brand new app called PhysiApp. PhysiApp lets you complete your prescribed exercise program by following crystal-clear, narrated exercise videos.
PhysiApp is completely free to download from the App store and Google Play store or can be accessed via your browser. Built-in reminders help you to stay on track towards a better you!
Our evidence-based patient centred treatment programs are based around your requirements and individually tailored treatment programs to support you through your recovery process. Our assessment and treatment is as individual as you.
We are able to assess your condition and prescribe appropriate exercises to help you self-manage at home and address any underlying factors contributing to your pain. We are also able to determine if any further investigation is necessary.
Choose between a standard 30 minute, 45 minute or 60 minute appointment for Telehealth consultations. A 30 minute appointment is suitable for those who have already been seen in clinic and are following up with their Health Professional. A 45 minute appointment is necessary for anyone who has not previously been seen in the clinic. An extended 60 minute appointment is required for those who have more than one problem, or a complicated issue that they feel requires more time.
Is a Telehealth consultation right for you?
- You are unable to attend the clinic due to isolation measures, distance or transport issues
- You are focused on improving your condition actively with exercise and self management rather than manual therapy
- You would like advice and education on appropriate activity modification in the presence of a new injury
- Your rehabilitation plan needs progressing
- You would like some correction and reassurance of your current form
When is Telehealth NOT right for you?
- You expect or need hands on treatment
- Have unreliable internet connection or no phone/computer that has video and audio.
Thats about it! Your physiotherapist will be honest and open with you at any point throughout your consult if they think online treatment isn't appropriate for your presentation.
